Club Meeting Tuesday February 5th

Our next Camera Club Meeting is on Tuesday February 5th at 7pm in the Cavan Institute.

We are continuing with portraiture following on from the success of our Lecture from Des Clinton.

We are going to have a hands on portraiture night similar to what we did and using similar lighting etc,.

Photographer of the Year 2012

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2012 Photographer of the year.

The winners were chosen based on the aggregate results from the five competitions which were held during the year.

The winners were :

Top :                   1st place      Safi Ahamed.

Centre               2nd place     Jim Costello.

Bottom             3rd place      Mark Johnson and presentations were made by the 2012 chairman Mr John McKay.

Congratulations are also due to all our members who took part in the competitions that were held during the year.

First Meeting of 2013

Our first club meeting for 2013 will take place on Tuesday 22nd January at 7pm in the Cavan Institute.

We have an exciting lecture lined up for this first session on Portraiture from Des Clinton.
